As we follow Jesus' footsteps to Gethsemane, we see both His humanity and His divine sonship on display. We also see the comparative weakness and failure of Peter, James, and John. Jesus submits His will to that of His Father. Through his example, we can learn how to walk the path of suffering in this life and how to gain strength through weakness by depending on the work of the Holy Spirit.
