Who Is Helping You Carry Your Mat?

Jesus has been in community for all of eternity with the Father and the Holy Spirit, and when he set out on his earthly mission, he modeled community by gathering twelve guys with whom he would do life with for the next three years. In the story of the man on the mat, we find a guy who had four close friends, who literally and figuratively carried him to physical and spiritual healing.
