Corporate Prayer Opportunities
You can find a daily prayer guide in the Spirit of Salem newsletter. An electronic copy of the Spirit newsletter is available by contacting the church office. Weekly prayer opportunities involve Sunday morning group prayer for Sunday services and requests on the weekly prayer guide preceding Sunday morning. You can also join the Intercessors prayer meeting on Tuesday afternoons from 4-5 pm at SalemCentral in the Prayer room with Pastor Glen.
Periodically Salem will have a prayer focus on a specific topic or group of people. Dates and topics will be announced in the bulletin.
Annually Salem has specific events that are a focus of prayer. In September the prayer focus is on all of Salem’s Ministries. January they focus on prayer for personal growth. Salem has a 40 Days of Prayer event that focuses on praying for unsaved family and friends. The 40 Days of Prayer begins approximately 40 days before Easter.

How to Receive Requests/Praises
If you would like to pray for requests/praises submitted on Sundays and any others that are gathered throughout the week please indicate on the Keeping in Touch bulletin insert (indicate that you would like to receive the Sunday requests/praises and the weekly prayer requests), or by contacting the church office. You can also request to have them mailed to you if you would rather. Salem has Prayer Coordinators at the front of the church after each service if you would like to pray with someone after the church service.
The Prayer Room (Room 101, at Central) will usually be available for individual or group prayer whenever the church is open. Instructions on how to pray using the A.C.T.S. (Adoration Confession Thanksgiving Supplication) format are provided and the room is set up with four areas with each area representing one of those components. You may post prayer request/answers to prayer on the bulletin board. There is ribbon and stones available to write on and take with you as a reminder to pray.
