Prayer Focus
"Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still." E. M. Bounds
Pray for Pastor Mark Fugere, Reaching and Sending Pastor, for God to equip Mark to help Salem to grow in effectiveness at sharing the gospel, near and far. Pray for each believer attending Salem to become a part of the vision to Reach the metro with the gospel, Disciple the church with the gospel and Send the church with the gospel, to the metro and beyond. Pray for Salem’s outreach to the homeless in our community; for many willing workers to assist in the shelter overflow effort to ensure all have a warm place to spend the night.
Pray for TJ, Lindsay, and their children serving in Kitale, Kenya. For continued health and safety as they minister to children within a large slum of 2,500 people. Pray God would encourage & strengthen them as they work with those in desperate conditions and to meet their needs for transportation. Pray that they receive their needed work permits soon to avoid having to return early.
Pray for Valley Christian Counseling and for Director Dan and for Kari and Sarah, as they serve to bind up the broken hearted and weary through God’s love and the powerful truth of applying God’s Word.
Pray for Pastor Glen and Rachel as they minister to our missionaries Michael and Emilie in Toulouse, France. Pray that the Gibbons and their ministry team will be encouraged and blessed. Pray for Michael to have a quick recovery from the flu. Pray for Glen as he prepares to teach, ask God to accomplish His purposes through them. Pray for safe travel and good health for all aspects of the trip. Information, details & prayer requests can be found on their blog, at fargo2france.blogspot.com

Psalm 96:1-6
1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
4 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.
Psalm 96:7-13
7 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts.
9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of his[a] holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
12 let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy;
13 they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth.
